I had the honor to take head shots for actor Rick Folten. I first met Rick at the Adorn Style Show last fall. He was the only model who was smiling on the runway, which left me a deep impression. As I was updating model and actor head shots for a modeling agency in town, he called and booked a full session. We even drafted a father daughter story together as the first part of the photoshoot. Rick plays multiple roles not only in small and big screens, but also in his real life. He is a father to four beautiful kids. Acting and modeling are major parts of his life, but he is also the CEO of a construction company. With 25+ years of experience as a general contractor, there is not a lot that he has not seen or cannot do. He is currently working on a new Home Improvement Show that he hopes to be on air this year, in which he is also the director and producer.
You probably would recognize his face through various TV commercials and films. Rick is known for Pawn’s Move (2011), Bad Blood: The Border War That Triggered the Civil War (2007) and Jessie in Reverie (2012). For TV commercials, I was impressed and touched by his Abbott commercial – Father Daughter Promise.Rick Folten Reel is a collection of some of his TV commercials and his home improvement work. He was also the host for Nebraska Tourism’s in 2009 – Camping Along Nebraska’s Byways.
With over 250 commercials plus film/TV, industrial and print, he has had the good fortune to work with some of the best directors, producers, crew and talent in the area. He said he is eager to branch out into new venues including feature film, print, and web series work as opportunities arise.
I have to say that Rick is the nicest actor/model I have ever worked with. He is so good with kids. Audrey has met him twice and he is now her favorite uncle. He has shared so many parenting tips with me. He said that the first six years of life is the most important. A child will shape their view towards life in the first six years. Early childhood education is really important for all the children. Rick also has a great sense of humor. He said he prefers to work with beautiful women and animals – in that order… Rick also enjoys creative writing, story telling, and laughing with friends.
It was great working with Rick and getting to know him. I look forward for our next photoshoot!

These turned out fabulous!
Thank you Audrey!
These are such great head shots! He seems like a really nice and humble guy, despite the fame. So that’s really good.
Thanks Fong! He really is a really nice and humble guy. It was great to work with him.
I totally LOVE the image in the telephone booth! These are great, well done!
