This session was intended just for Audrey intially. I was going through her wardrobe and found that I over bought too many dresses, so I decided to put one on her every weekend and take pictures of her. Audrey picked this sailor dress from 3 summer dresses. Originally I was only planning to take Audrey out for pictures. I asked Wesley if he wanted to go out, but he said, “Mommy no, I want to stay home playing cars.” By the time I put Audrey in the carseat, Wesley wanted to as well, so all of us went to my favorite private location. When I take both kids out, it’s almost impossible to get any posed pictures because they are so excited to play with each other. I got only a few posed pictures of Audrey, but I got tons of great candid pictures of Audrey and Wesley together. They could play in the fields all night long if I didn’t ask them to leave. Audrey practiced tippy toes from our dance class. Wesley joined too. At the end, I had to use the big grey wolf to get them home. They picked up sticks trying to scare the wolf away. It was more fun for them to play instead of posing pictures. Isn’t this want I wanted? Yes! I want to spend as much time with them as I could this year and lots of pictures to document these wonderful magical moments.
