Remember that cute little birthday girl with ponytails? Little Hannah was one of my first clients when I first started last year. She’s coming back for her four year old birthday photos! She is just getting prettier and prettier. Her parents prefer on location photo session than studio, so we shot in the freezing woods. Hannah’s mommy put two dresses on her plus a coat. She was still cold, so we wrapped her in a blanket when we change locations. She did really well for the first 30 minutes, but it is really cold and she started crying. That was probably the longest she could handle. I asked if she had breakfast. Her parents said she did not. I suggested a good breakfast place nearby and we all went to have warm breakfast.
We were hoping that little Hannah could get up and do more pictures after breakfast. Hannah had a full plate of scrammed eggs and lots of bacon! She loves bacon! As we hoped, she got excited about pictures and demanded to take more pictures. Her mom put her in a red Christmas dress and we shot right outside the restaurant in Liberty downtown. She remembered that we shot here last year too. Hannah was on fire and she was directing me where to take pictures, “Lai! Can we take pictures here? How about in front of this door? I want to take pictures here…” She is just so sweet. I held her hands to warm her up when we were walking from places to places. The second part with Christmas theme turned out great because she was warm and had a full tummy.
I truly love this little elf and hope to see her every year.

OMG! These are just too adorable! I love how you were able to see she needed a break and went with them instead of just ending their session! You could tell she was even more excited afterwards! Beautiful.
Thanks Mary! I love this girl!
Beautiful images, just love her purple coat. And her expressions are awesome!
soooo sweet and i just love her little santa dress!
She’s just the cutest little girl ever! Great images. Thats really amazing how you were able to problem solve in the moment by suggesting breakfast. You can really see how happy she is later in the session.
Kyle! I think she’s the cutest little elf too. I knew she was hungry and cold after a while. She was a trooper and did great after breakfast.
What an adorable little grin! I love the first one of her sitting on the stone wall.
What a beautiful child. You did a fantastic job capturing her inner spirit. I am sure the family will cherish these for many years to come.
Thanks Kristin! I love making friends with little kids and capturing their inner spirits.
Oh my goodness, love her Santa dress!
