I had the best mother’s day this year. We are so lucky to find the most caring home daycare teacher Ms. Karen. She loves our kids so much that they become part of her family. Ms. Karen used to run a kindercare daycare center before she started her own business. She teaches preschool curriculum at her home daycare. She cooks fresh homemade meals every day for our kids. She even growns her own veggie and plants flowers in her garden. She teaches Audrey and Wesley hands-on lessons by taking them out to plant and harvest veggies and fruits. I could go to work every morning and feel so satisfied to leave my kids at her home.
When I walked into her door to pick up Audrey and Wesley the Friday before Mother’s day, she gave me this big vase full of lilac! Ms. Karen said, “Happy Mother’s Day Lai! I thought about buying you flowers, which we could have easily done that; but these flowers are hand picked by your kids!” I can see how happy and exciting Audrey and Wesley are when they handed the flowers to me. Not to mention that purple is Audrey’s favorite color! Audrey told me on our way home, “Mommy! Take me to the fields and take some pictures with the flowers!” I said, “Of course sweetie! We will do that after dinner.” So here again, the Mommy and Me team went out for another photoshoot. This is by far the best reprentation of teamwork from Audrey and I. I love every single one image from this photoshoot. These made the perfect mother’s day present along with the lilac from Ms. Karen!

Thank you Michelle! Audrey really enjoy getting her photos taken and I love taking pictures of her.
Love your processing the colours really pop! What lens was used here?
Thank you Bobbie! I used my 70-200mm f2.8L IS II at 200mm.
Ohh I really need to get myself this lens! Have tried it a few times and love it, but am still a prime girl! Use my 85mm 90% of the time!! Have a 135mm I should use more often
I thought I was a prime girl too until this lens! It will totally shift your view! I almost use it at 200mm exclusively when I am shooting outside. 85mm is nice and it’s on my list to get. Eventually I want the 200mm f2.0.
Adorable! What a cutie pie!
Thank you Danyel!
