Remember this girl? She is the talented Kendra – the youngest vendor at Payton’s Closet in Liberty downtown. She had her jaw surgery a couple months ago and now she is reborn! So glad to see Kendra back!
Only 14, Kendra is a straight A student in school, a cheerleader, an artist who designs and makes her own hair bow. She also does a great job on makeup and hair and even help other cheerleaders on the team to do hair and makeup.
Kendra curled her own hair and did her own makeup for the first classic look. It’s totally what I was looking for! The first look was all done with using one light. The reason why I fell in love with studio photography is that I could learn lighting so much faster by practicing and I would have control to almost all the settings on my camera.
These are some of my favorite shots from the shoot. I like closeup portraits a lot more than full body shots. She was totally on fire in the following a couple shots.
We also had some fun with her cheerleader outfit. The lighting for sports is really different than portrait. This setup was done with 3 lights. Can you guess where are lights were placed and directions by looking at the photos?
