One of my really good friends is going to have her first baby! Remember this gorgeous couple that got married two years ago? Nancy and John are beautiful from inside to out. They are expecting their first baby. It’s a girl! They already have a name picked out. Her name is Mia. Mia was also on my list of girl names when we were picking out names for our little girl.

Nancy wanted a really natural looking maternity session that she is able to show everyone. At first I thought we could shoot in a park as for natural setting. After driving to the actual park a few days before the session, I was so disappointed. It is still too cold and there was no leaves or grass in the park. I took Nancy to one of my favorite spots – Liberty downtown. It’s the little town where I live and the downtown has some unique boutique stores and restaurants that makes a perfect backdrop for any casual portrait session.

Nancy wore a pink maxi dress for the session. She is at her 34 weeks. Baby Mia weighs approximately six pounds at this stage. There is a saying – women are the most beautiful when they are pregnant. I totally agree. She has this special glow on her right now. Nancy is the happiest girl I know. She is super outgoing and straightforward. I love her personality. She even wanted to do a jumping pose to express her excitement, but that was prevented by John and I for the safety of Mia. We did a pretending jumping pose instead. I am so happy for Nancy and John. Congrats again! I cannot wait to meet baby Mia!
