Who doesn’t like prime rib? It’s my favorite type of steak. I like it even better than filet mignon. A few weeks ago, we got a great deal on prime rib and my husband cooked a fantastic meal. While he was cooking, I took pictures of Audrey playing the 7-piece puzzle. She also tried to put lip balm on Wesley. Wesley doesn’t care, he was so focused examing my light meter.
The meal was the best after Christmas holiday. Besides the entree, the sides include mac and cheese, cream of spinach and artichoke, and mashed potato with bacon and scallion. We all couldn’t be more satisfied with the meal.
We need to burn the extra calories after the meal, so we took the kids to play in the backyard. It was such a nice day to play outside. Audrey and Wesley had lots of fun playing outside. It has been a long time that they couldn’t due to the inclement weather. Kansas City is like an ice box this winter. After that my in-laws were preparing dinner. We made Shanghainese fried daikon cupcake. I captured a few shots of them making the cupcake. It was so yummy. The fried daikon cupcake brings back lots of good childhood memories.
